A 16-year-old Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled in 2012. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks in the distillery's warehouses on the island, and it is unpeated.
Bruichladdich was closed from 1995 to 2001, so this bottling comes from the last distillates made in the Whyte & Mackay era, when that company owned the distillery from 1993.
The colour is natural, and the whisky has not been chill-filtered.
