Buffalo Trace is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the family-owned Buffalo Trace Distillery, which stands on the banks of the Kentucky River. The distillery has made its bourbon the same way for more than 200 years.
The whiskey is a deep amber colour. The nose combines vanilla, mint and molasses. On the palate it is sweet, with brown sugar and spice giving way to oak, toffee, dark fruit and anise. The finish is long and smooth.
