Eagle Rare is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the family-owned Buffalo Trace Distillery. It is aged for no less than ten years, and each barrel is selected to give a consistent flavour with an individual personality.
The nose is complex, with toffee, orange peel, herbs, honey, leather and oak. The palate is bold, dry and delicate, with candied almonds and very rich cocoa, and the finish is dry and lingering.
