Buio Carignano del Sulcis DOC - Mesa (13.5%)

Buio is a Carignano del Sulcis DOC red from Mesa. It has a deep colour and a profile of ripe black fruit, Mediterranean notes and light spice, with well-defined but not rough tannins, good acidity and a savoury length. The palate is full and enveloping, with fruity returns and a persistent finish with a pleasant almond note. It suits grilled meats, tomato-based stews and aged cheeses, and also works with savoury home cooking. Serve slightly cooler than room temperature and allow it to open with air.
