Bulleit Bourbon is a straight bourbon from Kentucky in the United States. It has a high rye content, with a mash bill of roughly 68% corn, 28% rye and 4% malted barley.
The whiskey is aged for at least six years in heavily charred American oak barrels and made with Kentucky limestone-filtered water.
The palate is lightly spicy, with caramel, vanilla and the fruitiness of the rye, and strong herbs and spices come through. The finish is spicy, with apple fruit returning alongside sweet vanilla and caramel.
