This is an 11 year old Islay single malt Scotch whisky from Bunnahabhain, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for its Discovery range at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in sherry casks, and the whisky is not peated.
The nose is rich fruit cake with vanilla and a lively citrus note. The palate is full, with stewed plums, orange marmalade and cinnamon spice. The finish is soft in texture, with milk chocolate and the sherry influence fading gently.
