Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old Cask Strength 2026 is an unpeated Islay single malt from the distillery's annual cask-strength series, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on the remote northern coast of Islay.
The whisky matured for 12 years in first-fill and second-fill Oloroso sherry casks alongside ex-bourbon barrels. It is bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour. The colour is deep amber with mahogany highlights.
The nose has dark raisins, figs, roasted walnuts and dark chocolate with a hint of sea spray. The palate brings dried fruit, Demerara sugar, orange marmalade and baking spices, and the finish is long, with dark fruit, sherry oak and salted caramel.
