This is the 2026 edition of Bunnahabhain's annual 12-year-old cask strength release from Islay, bottled at 55.8% ABV. The whisky was matured half in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks and half in bourbon casks.
The nose brings dried dates, raisins and plums with creamy toffee, vanilla cream, toasted coconut, cinnamon and a light salty note. The palate is full and oily, with sweet sherry, caramel, dark chocolate, roasted hazelnuts, candied apricots and a little pepper.
