This is a 12-year-old Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was built in 1881 by the Islay Distillery Co. on the island's northernmost point, just north of Port Askaig, looking across the Sound of Islay.
The whisky is full and rich in character. The flavours are soft, sweet and clean, with nuts and malt, notes of oak, honey syrup and a hint of spice. The finish is long and spicy, fading gently.
