Bunnahabhain 12 Years Old – Small Batch Distilled (70cl, 46.3%)

Bunnahabhain 12 Years Old is an Islay single malt that does without a dominant peat smoke. It is bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill-filtration. The whisky matures in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, which gives it a warm golden colour. Sweet malt, dried fruit, oak spice and a maritime note run through it. The nose offers dried fruit and roasted nuts with soft vanilla and a little caramel sweetness. On the palate, sweet malt meets pronounced sherry notes, with roasted nuts and a light maritime edge. The finish is long and full, with a touch of sea salt.
