A 12-year-old Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, which gives a rich, full-bodied whisky with the nutty, sherried character the distillery is known for. Bunnahabhain was founded in 1881.
The nose is fresh and aromatic, fruity and floral, with dried fruit and a light touch of smoke. On the palate there is fruit, nuts, vanilla and caramel, leading into a lingering, rich finish.
