Bunnahabhain – 2001 Signatory Vintage Symington's Choice 23 Years Old Oloroso Sherry Butt Cask 1438 (70cl, 59.5%)

This is a 23 year old Bunnahabhain from Signatory Vintage, part of its Cask Strength Collection under the Symington's Choice label. It was distilled on 8 October 2001 and bottled on 10 April 2025 at 59.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matured in an Oloroso sherry butt, cask 1438, which yielded 540 bottles. Bunnahabhain stands near Port Askaig on the Isle of Islay. It was founded in 1881 and is the northernmost distillery on the island.
