A 10-year-old Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2021 at 46% by The Nectar for its Daily Drams series. It matured in an Oloroso sherry butt and is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The cask brings a clear sherry influence to a largely unpeated, maritime style of malt.
The nose offers apple, pear, dried fruit, nuts, honey and a maritime note. The palate is malty and fruity, with caramel, raisins, nuts, spice and a salty edge. The finish runs medium to long, dry and spicy, with oak and sherry fruit.
