Bunnahabhain – 2019 25 Year Old (46.3%)

This is a 25 year old small batch single malt from Bunnahabhain on Islay, bottled at 46.3% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The maturation shows a clear sherry influence, and the long time in cask gives the whisky structure and a settled distillery character. It is usually described as showing malt, sweet oak, nuts, dried fruit, sherry, toffee and spice, with a light maritime note.
