Bunnahabhain – 2019 7 Year Old (Uncharted Whisky) (70cl, 55%)

This single cask Bunnahabhain comes from the distillery's heavily peated Staoisha style and was bottled by the Uncharted Whisky Company. It was distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2026 at 7 years old, 55% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matured entirely in a first fill red wine barrique, which gave it a rosé colour. It is natural in colour and not chill-filtered. The nose shows intense smoke set among red fruits and fine spices. The palate is powerful, with a structured texture. The finish is long, with sweet oak, gently fading smoke, berry fruit and a meringue sweetness.
