This is a 25 year old Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, in a 70cl bottle at 46.3% ABV. It matured for 25 years in sherry casks and shows the unpeated side of Islay.
It is bottled without chill-filtration and without added colour, and comes in a wooden box.
The nose has rich sherry, caramel and polished leather, with roasted nuts. On the palate, sweet berries and cream join malt and nuts in a soft, layered texture. The finish is soft and gradually drier, with spiced oak and a lasting cask impression.
