Bunnahabhain 25 Years is an Islay single malt, bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It has a strong sherry influence, with sweet layers of oak and nutty character built up over 25 years in cask. Despite coming from Islay, it is not smoky.
The nose is rich sherry giving way to caramel and polished leather. On the palate there are sweet berries and cream, roasted nuts and malt. The finish is soft and dry, with a hint of sugar and spiced oak.
