Bunnahabhain – 28 Year Old Wemyss Malts Untold Riches

This is an independent bottling of Bunnahabhain from Wemyss Malts, released under the name Untold Riches and bottled at 28 years old. Bunnahabhain stands on the north-east coast of Islay and is traditionally known for an un-peated single malt, much of which was originally intended for blending. The distillery closed for two years in 1982 and was later bottled officially as a single malt. Wemyss Malts was founded in 2005 by William Wemyss, formerly a wine producer in Western Australia and Provence.
