Bunnahabhain – 30 Years (70cl, 46.3%)

A 30 year old single malt from Bunnahabhain on Islay, bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the premium member of the distillery's core range and shows a strong sherry influence, with sweet layers of oak and nutty character. Despite its Islay origin, it is not smoky. The nose is of caramel sweets, honey and sweet sherry. The palate opens with strawberries and cream, then toffee, honey, nuts and cereal. The finish is long, with berries, ginger, oak spice and salted caramel.
