This is an Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2026 after seven years in a single first fill sherry hogshead. Gordon & MacPhail chose the cask for its Spirit of Scotland series, and it is bottled at a natural cask strength of 60.7% ABV.
Bunnahabhain works mainly with unpeated malt, so this bottling leans towards fruit, sweetness and spice rather than heavy smoke, with a maritime character that comes from the spirit itself. It is a limited release.
