An Cladach is a Bunnahabhain single malt first released for travel retail. It is sherry-led, with enough spice to balance its sweetness.
The name is Scottish Gaelic for "The Coast", which suits a distillery on the north-east coast of Islay.
The nose combines almond and cherry with fruity coffee and a hint of damp oak. On the palate come raisins, more cherry, black pepper and clove, with a touch of walnut. The finish is medium in length, with sherried malt.
