Bunnahabhain – Aonadh 10 Year Old 2011 (70cl, 56.2%)

Aonadh is a small-batch Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, bottled at 56.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. This is the 2011 release, aged for 10 years. It keeps the coastal freshness and malty sweetness associated with the distillery, with a richer and more intense edge than usual. The nose and palate bring sea spray, toasted malt and warming spice, with dried fruit and oak building through the middle of the palate. The finish is long.
