Bunnahabhain Aonadh is a 10 year old single malt, distilled and filled into cask on 7th February 2011. It is a limited bottling of 14,088 bottles, natural colour and non-chill filtered.
The whisky marries port finished Bunnahabhain with malt fully matured in sherry casks, the two brought together after maturation. Its colour is a deep auburn.
The nose is creamy vanilla with brandy butter, caramel, berries and a little oak. The palate has sweet red and black fruits, cinnamon, roasted nuts and a slight saltiness at the back. The finish is long, with fading spice reminiscent of chilli chocolate and hints of floral candy.
