Bunnahabhain Dragon Port is an eight-year-old single cask malt, bottled by The Whisky Chamber in a 50cl bottle. It is a peated Staoisha whisky from Bunnahabhain, distilled in October 2013 and matured in a port barrique before bottling in October 2021 at 58.3%. The outturn is 420 bottles.
The nose is dirty, powerfully peaty and maritime, turning fruitier with cherry, peach and a hint of tarmac. The palate is oily, with strong peat smoke, cinnamon, dry port and more tarmac. The sweet tarmac note stays on the palate for a very long time.
