Bunnahabhain Staoisha is a heavily smoky 12 year old Islay single malt, bottled by Hidden Spirits at 51.5% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in October 2013, matured in a first-fill barrel and bottled in 2026, without chill-filtration or added colour.
The nose is intense peat smoke with maritime salt and seaweed, and a light nuttiness. The palate is robust yet light, with clear smokiness, salt and a faint malty sweetness. The finish is long and smoky, with lasting salt and a trace of hazelnut.
