This is a 12 year old peated Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, released under the Staoisha name, which the distillery uses for its peated spirit. Distilled in 2013, it was drawn from a single Chinquapin oak barrel and bottled in 2026 at 54.4% for the Infrequent Flyers series.
The Chinquapin oak adds vanilla, cinnamon, caramelised sugar, charred oak and dark caramel to earthy peat smoke, maritime freshness and coastal salinity.
