Bunnahabhain Stiùireadair is an Islay single malt in a 75cl bottle. The name is Scots Gaelic for helmsman, after the sea dog figure on the label. The spirit is largely unpeated.
It is built from first and second-fill sherry casks, with the Senior Blender choosing whisky of varying ages and from different warehouse locations.
The official notes describe dried fruit and creamy caramel on the nose, with brine, vanilla, nuts and a touch of spice. The palate is creamy, with sea salt, roasted nuts and gentle spice.
