This is a peated Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2024 at a cask strength of 57.1% ABV. Staoisha is the name Bunnahabhain gives to its smoky style.
It is a single cask bottling from the Special Vintage Collection of the independent bottler Alambic Classique. The whisky matured in refill bourbon barrel 24011, which produced 212 bottles, and is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The flavour is described as peat smoke, salted caramel, citrus and vanilla.
