Bunnahabhain Toiteach A Dhà is an Islay single malt bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. The Gaelic name means 'smoky two'. It is made from heavily peated malt and matured in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose offers roasted peanuts, warm cinnamon, chilli and blackcurrant, with light peat smoke over the top. On the palate, sea salt and smoked fish sit alongside sultanas and dark chocolate, with a hint of melon and some pepper. The finish is malted barley, strong pepper and dry smoke, with a little sherry sweetness left behind.
