This is a triple-distilled Irish single malt from the Old Bushmills Distillery in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, made from 100% malted barley and bottled at 40% ABV.
It spends a minimum of ten years maturing in two kinds of wood: bourbon-seasoned casks and former sherry casks.
The nose is bright, fresh and honeyed. On the palate come vanilla bean, mocha and dried apricot with toasty oak, leading to a crisp, very long finish of subtle oak and fruit.
