This is a triple-distilled Irish single malt from Bushmills, aged at least ten years in bourbon and sherry casks. It comes in a 1 litre bottle at 46% ABV.
After the first maturation it receives a finish in Oloroso sherry butts from the Paez-Morilla bodega in Jerez, chosen by the then master blender Helen Mulholland. It is a limited edition, supplied in an orange tube.
The nose has ripe peaches, apricots and dark forest fruit, with prunes, figs, spicy oak and vanilla. The palate is soft and full, with dried figs and nuts, then raisins, praline and Spanish wood. The long finish carries dried fruit, apple pie and sweet wood.
