Bushmills 12 Year Old Irish Whiskey (75cl, 40%)

Bushmills 12 Year Old is a triple-distilled Irish single malt made from 100% malted barley at the Old Bushmills Distillery in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, which has been licensed since 1608. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The whiskey is aged in ex-bourbon barrels and oloroso sherry butts, then finished for six to nine months in Sicilian Marsala wine casks. The Marsala finish adds a dried-fruit depth. It is typically described with dried fruit, honey, vanilla, toasted nuts and gentle oak on the nose. The palate brings apricot, raisin, caramel, brown sugar and nutty malt with soft spice, and the finish is warm, medium-long and slightly sweet, with lingering fruit and toasted oak.
