This is a 12 year old Irish single malt from Bushmills, triple distilled and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matures in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, then receives a finish in Marsala wine casks. The Marsala adds fruitier notes to the bourbon and sherry character.
The nose brings honey, bourbon vanilla, dried fruit, milk chocolate and a touch of cinnamon. On the palate there are ripe pear, creamy toffee, almonds and fine oak spice. The finish carries cocoa, honey syrup and vanilla.
