Bushmills Black Bush is a blended Irish whiskey from the Bushmills distillery in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, bottled at 40% ABV in a 1.75-litre bottle.
It is blended from 80% malt and 20% grain whiskey, triple-distilled and aged for eight years in oloroso sherry casks. The sherry casks give it a rich, fruity character.
The nose is soft, with sherried fruit. The palate is silky with a nutty character, and the finish is a lingering sweetness with a good balance.
