Bushmills 14 Year Old Malaga Cask is an Irish single malt, triple distilled and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
After maturing in ex-bourbon casks, the whiskey is finished in Malaga wine casks. The finish brings out a winey fruit sweetness without pushing aside the vanilla and oak.
The nose offers tangerine, honey, vanilla and mild spice. On the palate come mango, pineapple, apricot, milk chocolate, cinnamon and ginger. The finish is a gentle fruit sweetness with fading spice.
