Bushmills 16 Year Old is an Irish single malt from the Matured in Three Woods series, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is aged in American oak, Oloroso sherry and port pipes, and has a ruby red colour.
The nose combines treacle toffee with cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate there are caramelised peaches and mango alongside toasted almonds and walnuts. The finish is long and layered, starting with concentrated jammed berries and ending on silky milk chocolate.
