Bushmills 16 Years is an Irish whisky aged for sixteen years, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
A Port cask is part of its make-up, and it shows on the palate.
The nose is floral, with candied red fruit, a touch of vanilla, oak spice and pepper. The palate is juicy and refreshing, with cherry alongside nuts and toffee. The long finish brings caramelised almonds and dark chocolate.
