Bushmills #3 Char Bourbon Cask – Steamship Collection (1L, 40%)

This is an Irish single malt from Bushmills, triple distilled and bottled at 40% in a 1 litre bottle. It is part of the Steamship Collection, created for the 125th anniversary of the SS Bushmills. The whiskey was matured entirely in heavily charred #3 char American bourbon casks. It comes in a cylindrical presentation tube with maritime illustrations. The nose is vanilla, honey, citrus zest and toasted wood. The palate brings soft caramel, nougat, light spice, sweet grain and a hint of coconut. The finish is warm and medium long, with bourbon sweetness and subtle oak.
