Bushmills – Black Bush Special Old Irish Whisky 1980s (1L)

This is Bushmills Black Bush, a Special Old Irish Whisky from the 1980s, in a 1 litre bottle. It is pale gold in colour. The nose is grainy and nutty with plenty of freshness, showing banana, a little apple and grape juice, toasted cake, hints of mastic and a very faint smokiness. It is round and clean. On the palate it is fruity and cereal-led, with banana, dried pear, coconut and cornflakes. The finish is medium to long, still fruity, with a slight caramel note.
