Bushmills Port Cask Reserve is a triple distilled Irish single malt from the Steamship Collection, released as a limited edition at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured fully in ruby port pipes rather than given a port finish, which gives a rich, fruity and smooth character.
The nose has red berries, raspberry, dark chocolate and soft spices. On the palate come sweet raisins, plums, caramel, honey, subtle wood and a hint of coffee. The finish is warm and creamy, medium to long, with red wine notes and a light chocolate bitterness.
