Bushmills – Steamship Bourbon Cask Irish Single Malt (1L, 40%)

Bushmills Steamship Bourbon Cask is an Irish single malt bottled at 40% in a 1 litre bottle. It is the third release in the Steamship Collection, a series first developed for travel retail that marks the 125th anniversary of the maiden voyage of the SS Bushmills. The triple-distilled malt matured entirely in first-fill Kentucky bourbon barrels of American white oak, charred to level 3 by coopers from Louisville. Honey, vanilla and toasted oak mark the bourbon influence. The nose brings tropical fruit, honey, vanilla and crème brûlée, with malt and a light char. On the palate honey and vanilla meet banana and peach, and the finish is soft, medium to long, with a herbal note.
