This is a 12 year old Glen Elgin single malt from Speyside, bottled by the independent bottler WM Cadenhead at 46% ABV. It was matured in Palo Cortado sherry casks and is a limited release.
It is non-chill filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose has caramelised nuts, dried apricots and warm oak spice. The palate is velvety, with citrus zest, honeyed malt and a hint of toasted almonds. The finish is long, with baking spices and a subtle sherry sweetness.
