This is an independently bottled Speyside single malt from Aultmore, distilled in 2010 and bottled by William Cadenhead in 2023 at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It matured for 12 years in a mix of 75% ex-Fino sherry and 25% ex-Manzanilla sherry casks, which bring dried fruits, citrus, nuts and warming spice to Aultmore's fruity character.
The nose is orange peel, Demerara sugar, cocktail cherries and pecan nuts. On the palate come green apple and cinnamon, with dates, sultanas and other dried fruits. The finish brings walnuts, orange pulp and maple syrup.
