Calvados ExperiMental Arran Angels Drouin (70cl)

A Calvados from Normandy, made from carefully selected cider apples. Distillation uses innovative methods, giving a soft and complex structure, while ageing in wooden casks, probably oak, adds depth and aromatic complexity. The result is a rounded spirit with intense ripe fruit, vanilla, a delicate touch of sweet spice, an elegant mineral undertone and a hint of citrus freshness. It can be enjoyed neat as a digestif, or paired with aged cheeses, fruit-based desserts or dark chocolate.
