A refined Calvados from the Pays d'Auge, made from a selection of typical apples and aged for at least 18 years in oak barrels. It has a rich, elegant bouquet of cooked apple and pear, with warmer spicy notes of vanilla, cinnamon and toasted wood.
On the palate it is full and round, with fine softness and a persistent, pleasantly spicy finish. It works well as a digestif and with dried-fruit desserts or aged cheeses.
