A Calvados from the Normandy region of France, made from a selection of local cider apples.
Distillation takes place in copper stills and ageing in oak casks, giving aromatic depth with notes of dried fruit, vanilla and light spice. It is balanced on the palate, with freshness and softness, and a persistent, slightly savoury finish.
Best served at room temperature as a digestif, or with aged cheeses and refined white meat dishes.
