Canadian Club 12 Years Old is a Canadian whisky aged for twelve years, in a 70cl bottle at 40% abv.
The nose is aromatic, with caramel, burnt sugar and sweet dark fruit such as raisins, redcurrants and prunes. There is a touch of sweet acidity, and floral and herbal notes are overtaken by celery, alongside a wide range of spices.
On the palate it is sweet with caramel and sugar, leaving warmth at the sides of the tongue from peppery spice. The finish is medium, with pepper, spice and sweet caramel, a slight woody astringency and a faint bitterness.
