Canadian Club Apple is a flavoured Canadian whisky, made by blending Canadian Club whisky with an apple liqueur and bottled at 35% ABV in a 1.75 litre bottle. It is produced at the Hiram Walker distillery in Windsor, Ontario.
The base whisky is made from rye, rye malt, barley malt and corn, with the grain spirits blended before they go into barrel, a method used since 1858.
The nose is led by fresh green apple, with faint vanilla and butterscotch. On the palate the apple is bright, followed by bakery notes, caramel, cinnamon, ginger and a little rye spice. The finish is light and moderately sweet, with apple and gentle spice.
