A blended Canadian whisky with a 12 year age statement, made at the Hiram Walker distillery in Windsor, Ontario and bottled at 40% ABV.
The blend combines corn-based grain whisky with rye and barley components, matured in ex-bourbon barrels and new oak. The youngest whisky in it is 12 years old. It has won a Gold award at the International Wine & Spirit Competition.
The nose is sweet oak with clove, ripe apricot and caramel-vanilla. On the palate, honeyed toffee and butterscotch meet pear, peach and white pepper. The finish is medium, with oak, ginger, cinnamon and orange zest.
