Canadian Club Chronicles 42 Year Old is the second issue in the Chronicles range. It pays tribute to the dock men who ran floating liquor stores and bars aboard their vessels during Prohibition, and who could be relied on to supply genuine Canadian Club.
The whisky is amber in colour. The nose offers robust rye spice, caramel and a hint of char. The palate is warm and slightly sweet, with brown sugar, baking spices, oak and rye spiciness, and the finish is a lingering toffee with a subtle tartness.
